Middle class

Im still shopping around for gifts this Christmas i was told that i should swing by Divisoria and buy gifts from 168 mall. The very thought of going to Divisoria pains me. I love shopping but to get to Divisoria one must either be a masochist or atleast prepared to be carried around by total strangers.
I wanna stroll around and not dragged around.
If you wanna inquire about the price of a merchandise your checking you need to yell and ask how much the item is, if you decide to transfer to another mall the usuall 4 minute walk turns into a giant maze challenge.
Oh, and don't forget to hold tight to your bag/purse/wallet/cellphone i heard that they mysteriously disappear in the area.
A trip to Divisoria will make you feel like queuing for BDO ATM a breeze.

EARLIER I SAID THAT I SOLD MY IPHONE, UNFORTUNATELY THE GUY WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE A "SUREBUYER" WASNT SO SURE ABOUT BUYING THE THING AFTER ALL. AFTER AN AVALANCHE OF VENTI MOCHA FRAP AND 2 GALLONS OF SMOOTH KRISPY KREME COFFEE THE SUREBUYER GUY ARRIVED!
AFTER BROWSING,LOGGING ON FACEBOOK,YAHOO AND TOYING WITH THE APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE HE FINALLY SAID THAT HE WILL BUY IT ONLY FOR A LESSER PRICE. WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY HE SAID THAT HE THOUGHT THAT ITS JUST A FEW Kbps SLOWER THAN THE 3G IPHHONE .

NOW WHAT

I finally sold my iphone2g but still imyet to decide on what phone to replace it with.Im consdering E75 manufactured by nokia, but the thing is nokia is sooooo yesterday and i cant really see it climbing its way back as the king of mobiles anytime soon. Apple's Iphone is another option but am i really prepared to spend half my xmas budget on a single gadget??of course i could either get modu from globe which is tiny but globe is offering very few jackets all the fancy jackets are not out yet in the Philippine market. Hmmm?? Hmmmmm??? Pershaps i should bond more with my cherry mobile for less than 1k i can send/ receive txt msgs, make and receive calls but of course i cant flash it around pag nagoakitaan na ng gadgets hahahahaa.....

Reviewing everything that is written on this blog i found the author too materialistic and i hate him sometimes unfortunately the author is me.

Lately i found myself spending more time on the web, of course this is somehow expected of me considering that im addicted to farmtown and other facebook apps, only this time I've been browsing on items for sale at TPC ( thats tipid PC) and TCP ( thats tipidCP).
I love everything that i own but considering all the things available online i cant help but be tempted to somehow ask the advertiser if he can bring down their price a bit further.
I dont really need another phone or to upgrade my phone because mine is working pretty well there really is no need to replace it but for dishing out a couple of G's i could actually get an Iphone 3g. My Hp netbook is in its pristine condition but selling it and adding a few bucks i can get a laptop with twice the storage capacity.
The need to update/upgrade our worldly possession is insatiable, as we browse through available gadgets and stuff we're getting more and more restless. Its like an itch that no amount of scratching can ever cure.
And as i scratch my own itch just feel free to check my iphone pixs below i hope its enough to ease your itch.
In few weeks i'll be posting a pic of my netbook hope that doing so will releave me from itching to own a macpro or viao.

There are a lot of things that I regret and almost in all occasion i managed to put the blame on someone else my nanay specially. I attended public school and i really feel bad about that i know that i must have been better off had i been to private school. I always feel bad about my looks and i blame that on her too because its her genes im carrying. I hate the fact that were not rich, im thinking that it was her fault after all.......
Like i said i have a lot of things to feel sorry about but now that shes gone im even sorrier because i lost the only person who ever loved me the way she does. Now i regret that i never thank her for sending me through college though she cant afford it, Im sorry that i never invited her to Baguio when i had the chance, i regret that i never asked her to get regular check up, she may still be alive had we detected the cancer early. I detest my self that i never hug her when i had the chance that i turn her down whenever she ask me to massage her back. I didnt know... I didnt know that despite having a perfect mom i ended up being the worse son she could ever get. I love you nanay no one ever read this blog and everything that is written here is for you, i hope that you are as proud of me because i am very proud of you i can never show you that now but in my heart i know that even if i can afford to buy everything that i want i will never be as happy when you were on my side.

Dont know what to do with these gadgets, The pocket PC in the picture is manufactured by HP its touch screen is not working,so i paid HP a visit.

The phone next to the pocket PC is L7 manufactured by Motorola. I could dig through my stuff and look for other gadgets that needs servicing but visiting HP is traumatic enough......

Accounting

My college roommate is the only filipino in Nepal as of now ( were talking about filipinos who are staying legally) . We been exchanging msgs then i asked him if they need extra help perhaps he can hire me, this somehow surprised him because he's under the impression that im doing really well here. I told him that here i dont even qualify to be under the middle class categoty, not that im not getting my complete meal everyday but there are things that i really ,really want but i could'nt really really afford.

Lets put numbers into perspective. I checked my excel file which contains all the information about my finances, like how much i make each month,where the money came from and when i received the amount.

To my surprise i average 25 to to 45k a month, to some that is enough money to pack their things and work abroad.but ive been making that amount of money here so why leave right?

Last August i made around 60k, where and when the money left my pocket, i honestly dont know! Let me try breaking it down.

Apartment - 7000

Internet -800

tuition fee -2000

Meralco -2000

thats 12k on monthly bills alone........

Say that, i spend 5k on food a month and whenever i go to work that will give us a total of 17k....

But then again i drive my own transpo so lets say that i spend 3k on gas alone not including maintainance,registration, oils and other things you need to keep your car in tip top shape our total now is 20k...... hmmm no wonder there are times when i couldn't make both ends meet!But were not done yet ofcourse there are other things that needs to be paid using your mobile phone alone is not cheap so lets say that i spend 1k on my phone load thats 21k total, not only that, you need to make life easier by commuting at times its safe to say that another 2k goes to that bringing our total to 23k.

Please consider that you need to buy shampoo,soap laundry detergent deodorant and other whatnots so set aside 2k for those as well..... our total now is 25k.

Stay away from SM supermalls, trinoma, starbucks or at the very least stop drooling over lacoste,gap, new iphone, apple notebook because even if you earn 35k a month seriously you cant afford them.

Farm town

i talked about sharing internet on my last post ( How to share internet connection if your using a usb 3g modem). What i failed to mention is the reason why im so eager to share the connection.

3 weeks ago i know nothing about this little application called Farmtown but everybody's talking about it. Open your facebook account and all you'll see are updates about who's harvesting,who's leveling up, who bought this and that, so i decided to check the damn application out.

To my surprise theres really nothing special about the thing but its really addicting. there was this one time , when i couldn't stop playing farm town for 20 straight hours, that means forgetting about work, dinner dates, and tv series to watch.

The graphics are rather old school its not even 3d but everything's within reach you can assign lots for your friends so you can be neighbors, you can chat while plowing and of course use your imagination to make your Farm better. I even spent more than an hour building a waterfall and because its not 3d you really need to be patient that means googling for tips and tricks!

There are hundreds of application available but i cant really check all of them now. Why ?? ...... because i'll be harvesting in ten minutes.

Sun Cellular Internet SHARED

I spent my entire week trying to figure how i can share my internet service from one pc to my laptop and other gadgets. I combed 2 malls looking for any device that will allow me to do this.

My internet service is provided by sun cellular, the speed that they offer is better than smart or globe which is really great but the fact that my connection is via a usb modem made sharing almost impossible...... almost.

I browsed several forums and websites and because my service is rather unconventional, digging for the right tutorial took a lot of time. The following are the options that was offered.

1. Buy a 3g router- very pricey though around 8k for this type of set up plus if your pc doesnt have a built in wifi then you would have to dish out another 1k for the the dongle.

2. Wired connection where you will stick your usb modem to your pc, create a wired connection from your pc to a router which will then supply the internet to your laptop. Very technical not recommended for computer moron like me.

3. Create an ad-hoc connection between your pc and your laptop. If your Pc is wifi ready then you wouldnt have to spend a dime.

Clearly option number 3 is the best way to enjoy shared internet. I just finished setting up the network yesterday and the result is great, i only dished out 1k for the dongle but then again thats a very cheap price for sharing your internet to multiple devices.

My room is officially a wifi hotspot every single device that i own (PSP,HP pocketpc,Iphone, Laptop) is now online.

what i have now

I'm doing this to place a clearer picture of what i am today. I am currently employed but i really don't know what my job tittle is, i can describe it but that wont be easy so maybe next time. I live in a small house with 2 bedroom, i own several things a regular pc, 2 television set, a dvd player, a 2 door freezer, a laptop and several mobile phone. I drive a wrangler and still paying an apartment that i can call my own in 2 years.

What i want is to put everything in a box so that i can get a better perspective of how much im worth right now. i Know that it really sound silly and pathetic even but who knows if this will help me perform better or focus better then theres no harm in trying is there.

What i want for next year???

1. A car i've been promising to save up for this one but been unsuccessful so far.

2. Another iphone- i allready own one but i want a better one.

3. A better laptop- i love my netbook but i can do better

4. Renovate my room

This is what i will do, i will keep my eyes on the prize i will post any development, fall back anything that has helped me or deter me from getting this goals. Wish me luck!!!!
